BuildBazar (“we”, “us”) operates the BuildBazar website and Android app, a marketplace for industrial procurement. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you use the website or the Android app.

Account details you provide, such as a username and password.

Company and contact details you provide, such as company name, phone number, email address, address, PAN, and GSTIN.

Enquiry and order details you submit, such as products, quantities, specifications, delivery information, and notes.

Files you choose to attach, including photos taken with your camera and documents you upload.

Basic technical information needed to run the service, such as log data (for example IP address, device or browser type, and the time of a request) used to keep the service secure and working.

The BuildBazar Android app asks for permission to use your device camera. We use the camera only when you choose to take a photo, so you can capture a product, a requirement, or a business document (such as a GST or PAN image) and attach that photo to an enquiry or your company profile.

The camera is not used in the background. We do not use camera images for facial recognition, biometric identification, or advertising. You can deny or revoke camera permission in your Android settings. If you do, you can still use the rest of the app, but you will not be able to take a new photo from inside the app.

BuildBazar does not operate a payment gateway. We do not collect or store debit or credit card numbers, card verification codes, UPI credentials, net-banking passwords, or other payment-account details.

An enquiry may include commercial payment terms that you type in, such as advance payment or a credit period. Those terms describe how you and a supplier prefer to do business. They are not a payment processed by BuildBazar.

We use the information above to create and secure your account, show your company profile, receive and share enquiries and quotations with relevant suppliers, and respond when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information.

Enquiry and company details you submit may be shared with suppliers so they can quote on your requirement. We also use service providers who host the website, app, and stored files, and they process that information only to provide those services.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect BuildBazar, our users, or the public from harm or fraud.

We keep account, company, enquiry, and attached file information for as long as your account is active and as needed to complete enquiries, keep business records, and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account information by emailing contact@buildbazar.in.

BuildBazar is a business marketplace and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we add a payment gateway or change how the camera or other device features are used, we will update this page and change the date below. Continued use of the website or app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
